The document below describes the research based and proven effective nine (9) objectives of the Active Shooter Prevention Protocol, and how they would be introduced and embedded in a school setting by NewDawn Security.
The protocols are measurable, and the measuring system is objective, so that any school official, at any time, will be able to determine their current level of proactive prevention against an active shooter event.
In addition, when the measurable protocols reach the level of “embedded” in a school campus, that campus will be as “prepared as possible” to prevent an active shooter event and be eligible to receive a yearly certification.
In addition, the protocols described below can be embedded with your current equipment and staffing levels. Enhancing and maintaining your level of safety and security WILL NOT require you to add more staff or purchase new equipment.
